Apple continued to lead the USA market, exceeding 55% market share of top mobile phone brands in USA. This was driven by the Apple iPhone 13 series. Since October 2021, the iPhone 13 has been the best-selling smartphone model globally each month.

Samsung’s market share declined in the segment. This was mostly because of a delayed launch of the Galaxy S22 series as compared to the Galaxy S21 series launch in 2021.
