It was on March 1; Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 8A Dual [3GB+32GB] in Nepal. And now the company has come up with another affordable variant of Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual that comes up with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
There is not much difference between the 2GB and 3GB RAM variants of the smartphone, the only difference you will find is the RAM capacity. Rest all the specs remain the same.
Redmi 8A Dual (2GB+32GB) Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual comes with Aura XGrip design and boasts a 6.22-inch HD+ (1520x720p) dot notch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU, the smartphone offers 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card slot.
Coming to the optics, the Redmi 8A Dual offers Dual AI rear camera which includes a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with support of PDFA and flash. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone offers a USB Type-C port and is fueled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual is splash-proof by P2i protection and comes with an AI face unlock feature.
Whereas, the connectivity options include dual nano-SIM support and dual SIM VoLTE calling, 4G LTE, 2.4G Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wireless FM, etc.

The Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual is available in three color options i.e. Sky White, Sea Blue, and Midnight Grey. The smartphone is available in two variants i.e. 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB which is priced at NPR 11,999 and NPR 12,999 respectively. The smartphone is available to buy across all offline Mi authorized retailers and online via Daraza and Sastodeal.
