Within days after the launch of the realme X50 Pro 5G and iQOO 3 in India, Vivo has added a 5G smartphone to its kitty with the launch of Vivo Z6 5G in China. The smartphone brings in the Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 44W fast charging functionality. Moreover, the handset offers L-shaped quad cameras with a 48MP primary camera. The addition of a dual-mode 5G (NSA + SA) helps you to experience improved connectivity.
The Vivo Z6 5G flaunts a 6.57-inch display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The display is enclosed with slim bezels at a 20:9 aspect ratio. You will be able to read content easily with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.74%. The display features a 3.85mm drilled punch hole placed in the upper right-hand side corner for the accommodation of the selfie camera.
The smartphone draws the required processing power via the Snapdragon 765G chipset. And, the device is available in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants comprising of 128GB internal storage.
On the optics, the Vivo Z6 5G ships with a quad-camera consisting of a 48MP (f/1.79) primary 6-element lens sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) wide-angle camera, 2MP (f/2.4) depth-sensing camera alongside a 2MP macro sensor. The wide-angle camera offers a 112-degree field of view using which you can capture images with large real estate.
On the front, the handset accommodates an f/2.48 aperture 16MP sensor on the punch-hole, which is comparatively less than the 5G smartphones available now.
The smartphone borrows power via a massive 5000mAh battery. The integration of 44W Super Flash Charging technology enables you to charge up to 70 percent in 35 minutes. The addition of the USB Type-C port helps you to charge quickly. Even though the phone provides support for 5G, it’s backward compatible with 4G mobile services as well.
As mentioned above, the Vivo Z6 5G is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB storage. While the 6GB RAM model costs CNY 2,298 (~NPR 36526), the 8GB RAM model will be up for grabs for CNY 2,598 (NPR 43177). We expect that the company will launch the device in India with both 4G and 5G support within the next few months.
