Few days after the launch of vivo V19 in Nepal, vivo now has added a new smartphone in its Y-series with the launch of vivo Y30 in the market. The latest entrant in the series, vivo Y30 brings some new features like iView Display, AI Quad Camera setup, and a massive 5000mAh battery to the budget segment.
Price starting at just Rs. 24,999, the smartphone is available in two variants 4GB RAM+64 GB ROM and 4GB RAM+128 GB ROM. So, what do we get with the vivo Y30? Let’s find out.
vivo Y30 boasts a 6.47-inch View display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and 1560×720 (HD+) resolution. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and PowerVR GE8320 GPU, the smartphone comes in two storage variants i.e. 64GB and 128GB. Users can also expand the storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.
For gamers, Vivo also has an Ultra Game Mode that allows screen recording while playing games, and disable auto-brightness with Brightness Lock feature.
Talking about the optics, the vivo Y30 houses an AI quad-camera setup on the rear stacked in a uniquely compact structure. There is a 13MP primary camera, 8MP Super Wide-Angle Camera, 2MP Super-Macro Camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera for the bokeh (background blur) in portrait shots. As for selfie purpose, it comes with an 8MP, (wide) selfie camera at the front.
The vivo Y30 is fueled by a 5000mAh battery which company claims to supports about 9 hours of online gameplay and about 137.09 hours of local music playtime. Sadly, there is no fast charging capability but does support 5W reverse charging.
vivo Y30 is available in two storage and color variants. vivo Y30 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 4GB + 64 GB variant and Rs. 27,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant with a one-year official warranty. The smartphone is available to buy in two color options i.e. Emerald Black and Moonstone White.
