Vivo, today, has extended its portfolio in Nepal with an addition of a new smartphone in its existing V Series – the Vivo V19. The company planned to launch the smartphone in March, but due to the pandemic and nationwide lockdown imposed by the Government of Nepal, the launch of the Vivo V19 was delayed.
The Vivo V19 was launched in India last month in two memory and storage configurations i.e. 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. But in Nepal, Vivo has launched only the 8GB+128GB variant of the smartphone with a price tag of Rs. 49,999.
CEO at Vivo Mobile Nepal – Mr. Tan Tao said, “Vivo is committed to innovating with the consumer in mind, and V19 reflects our deep understanding of Nepali consumers’ needs. With industry-leading selfie technology, beautiful design, and strong performance, V19 is perfect for young consumers who care about the camera and entertainment features. V19 is a trendsetting smartphone built to complement young consumers and their lifestyles.”
He also added, “Its benchmark camera settings are going to establish a whole new meaning to night-time selfies.”
Vivo V19 Specifications and Features Overview
Firstly, let’s talk about the camera as it is one of the main selling points on the smartphone. Vivo V19 boasts a dual punch-hole front camera setup with a 32MP main camera and an 8MP super wide-angle camera. The front camera supports a wide-angle selfie of up to 105 degrees, with a built-in AI algorithm that company claims that can independently correct wide-angle distortion between foreground and background for good shots.
Talking about the rear, Vivo V19 has an AI Quad Camera setup which looks almost identical to that of Galaxy M31, with a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP bokeh camera.
Along with Ultra Stable Video, V19 is packed with AI image and video features, including AI Video Filters, AI Video Editor, and AI Image Matting for professional yet easy editing.
Both the front and rear cameras are equipped with special modes to capture photos at night. The company also claims that the front camera’s Super Night Selfie mode and the rear camera’s Super Night Portrait mode helps users to capture stunning high-resolution images at night.
Vivo V19 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ (2400 x 1080p) E3 OLED display that supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The company also claims that the smartphone automatically auto-adjusts the brightness of the display to suit ambient light levels and filters 42% more blue light than E2 OLED. The top of the display is also further protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
Vivo also claims that the Nepali users will fall in love with this design of the Vivo V1 at first sight. This is something we will tell you guys on our initial impression once we get our hands on the device. For that, stay tuned with us.
In addition to the camera, display, and design, Vivo V19 also offers great performance and good battery life too.

The smartphone is equipped with 8GB RAM + 128GB/256GB ROM, allowing users to store everything they need for work, rest, and play.
