The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has now officially confirmed the launch date on its Vivo V19 in India. The company released the image teaser with relevant hashtags on Vivo India Twitter handle along with the launch date, which is set for 26 March. Unlike the Indonesian variant of Vivo V19 that got launched with SD 675 chipset last week, the Indian variant of Vivo V19 is tipped to ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset.
Vivo V19 Specifications and Features
The Vivo V19 will feature a 6.44-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) Super AMOLED dual punch-hole display, which helps you to navigate content without any distraction. While the plastic frame was used in the phone launched in Indonesia, we expect metal frame in India to provide a premium experience.
Instead of 8GB RAM in Indonesia, the company will probably unveil a 6GB RAM variant in India with both 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. You will be able to extend the storage up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The in-display fingerprint sensor adds beauty to the device.
On the optics, the Vivo V19 will ship with a 48MP (f/1.8) primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor, 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. We are not expecting any changes to the camera segment because all major handsets currently carry a quad-camera mechanism. The camera offers PDAF, HDR and LED Flash including AI capabilities. The front-facing camera will likely ship with a 32MP sensor punched on the front hole.
The 4500mAh battery integrated on the Vivo V19 will be well supported by 18W fast charging. Hence, you will be able to charge the device quickly.
The Vivo V19 will ship with Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android Pie. Vivo will release the product in India with changes to the RAM, chipset and storage capacities. We also expect the availability of additional colors.
Vivo V19 Pricing & Availability in India
In all probability. the Vivo v19 will be priced below INR 25,000 for the 8GB RAM variant. The 6GB RAM model will be available below INR 19,000. We will know the exact price after the launch. You can watch the live launch on YouTube with updates on Twitter and Facebook. The company will not hold a physical launch event due to the coronavirus outbreak.
