Super Mario LEGO

The Jumpman is back, this time in bright red and blue Lego suit. LEGO, the Denmark-based company in its latest announcement said that Super Mario LEGO sets will be launched on August 1.

Arriving in three sets, the Super Mario line will include- Mario Starter Course for a price of $59.99, the Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set for $29.99, and the Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set for $99.99.

The LEGO Mario figure as mentioned by the company has LCD screens fitted in eyes, mouth, and belly to express an instant reaction to movement, color and action bricks. Additionally, there is a speaker that tunes iconic sound from the popular video game series.

LEGO in its official PR mail noted that users can pre-order the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course on and from select leading retailers around the globe.

In related news, Nintendo is reportedly planning to bring remastered Switch versions of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario 3D World, and Super Mario Galaxy to commemorate its 35th anniversary.

According to Gamespot, the remastered versions will be available in four different consoles including Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, and Wii U.

Another good news in the Mario cart includes the fix of a two-decades-old glitch. If you have the Super Mario 64 you have certainly seen the roasting flame when Mario’s bum burns in lava pits. Well, the smoky effect was nothing but a visual glitch. The smoke particle which was present in the game was said to be hiding beneath an ‘incorrect line of code.’ The “patch” for Super Mario 64 has been released by zoinknoise that restored the effect to its original version.

From a grainy colored icon with graphical limitations, a superhero figure trying to save girlfriend from ‘Donkey Kong’ to Super Mario Odyssey (for Nintendo Switch), the iconic character managed to bring nostalgia each time. The new goodies will no doubt bring refreshing experience for the newbies and a moment to relive for the oldies.
