After releasing two foldable devices in the past and listening to user feedback on the most asked upgrades and new features, Samsung unveils the Galaxy Z Fold2 that offers users enhanced refinements and unique foldable user experiences.
Samsung didn’t fully unveil the Galaxy Z Fold2, but it lifted the cover a little bit to have a peek. It focused on the two displays, and more details about the device will be revealed at a later date.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 Specifications and Features
Last year’s Galaxy Fold was some kind of experiment in the field of foldable phones. The idea was an innovative one, but the smartphone faced a lot of durability issues. Its launch was postponed several times because of Samsung’s inability to solve all the issues. Samsung will likely avoid those situations with its successor.
Samsung has changed the naming scheme to include the Fold2 in the Z series. The Z series will be the company’s lineup of foldable phones. There are already two devices under the Z series – Z Flip and Z Flip 5G. So, the Galaxy Z Fold2 has had two devices to take inspiration from. And it seems to have done an excellent job.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 comes packed with two edge-to-edge, nearly bezel-less Infinity-O Displays. The Cover Screen is 6.2-inches, and the massive Main Screen is 7.6-inches, making them both larger than the Galaxy Fold. The front-facing camera and the internal cameras have both moved to punch holes.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 Price and Availability
The Galaxy Z Fold2 will be available for pre-order on September 1 with more details on the chipset, cameras, battery, pricing, and availability to follow. Samsung will sell two color variants – Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze. – The company is also partnering with iconic New York fashion house Thom Browne to deliver a limited Galaxy Z Fold2 Thom Browne Edition.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to launch in Nepal at the end of September for a price of around NPR 2,00,000.
