Samsung has started to roll out Android 10 software updates for the Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20e and Galaxy XCover 4s smartphones. The new update ships with One UI 2 with exciting new features and improvements.
Recently, Samsung had delivered Android 10 for a wide range of smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy J6, which was launched in 2018. Unlike other smartphone manufacturers, Samsung has been consistently providing fresh software bits for older devices and this shows the commitment of the company towards its customers.
Dubbed as the best-selling Android smartphones of 2019, the Samsung Galaxy A10 gets better with One Ui 2.0 based on Android 10. The availability of Android 10 for the device helps you to leverage new features including improvements.
With version number A105FDDU3BTCA, the Android 10 update for the Galaxy A10 also includes March 2020 security patches as of March 1. The latest update will be available only for the SM-A105F variant. If you have other regional models such as SM-A105FN/G/M/N, you will continue to run Android Pie.
The One UI 2 included with Android 10 provides a wide range of new features. The update includes improvements from not only Samsung but also Google based on the user’s feedback. However, you should manually update apps such as Calculator, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health and Samsung Notes after the completion of the update process.
The Android 10 update for the Samsung Galaxy A20e is available for the SM-A202F global variant with software version A202FXXU3BTC7. The interesting point to note is that the Android security patch level is provided up to April 2020. The new update is currently being rolled out in Slovakia. We expect the availability of the update within the span of the next two weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s is a rugged smartphone and is now getting One UI 2.0 refreshed with software version G398FNXXU4BTC7.
The XCover 4s ships with a 2800mAh battery and are resistant to dust and water via IP68. After the installation of the new update, you will be able to perform a downgrade to Android Pie. However, the company has advised users to take the utmost precaution.
The Android 10 update with One UI 2.0 is currently being pushed to the above devices in a phased manner. You will receive an update message notification based on the region.
Note: For safety purposes, take the backup of all your important data before proceeding to perform the software update. Also, make sure to use Wi-Fi to download Android 10 software updates and charge up your smartphone up to 100% to avoid interruption.
