The rumor mill had been churning out leaks over the past few months on Realme’s new budget phone the Realme C3. While speculations indicated a possible launch this month, the affordable phone from Realme has finally made its debut in Nepal today. The new Realme C3 has been launched for a price of NPR 16,990.
To recall, the Chinese handset maker entered the Nepal mobile market last year and in no time the company has launched a dozen smartphones on a sweet budget. Realme has already managed to capture a good share in the Indian budget and mid-range smartphone segment and it is now foraying into other countries in South Asia.
Realme C3 Specifications and Features
Talking about the Realme C3, the device comes with a bunch of upgrades over its predecessor. First up, the phone equips MediaTek’s latest chipset MT Helio G70. The octa-core processor with the Mali-G52 GPU enables throttling graphic-intensive games at a high frame rate. To rev up the experience, the phone packs a mammoth-sized 5000mAh battery for long hour usage without any hassle.
Build out of plastic, the Realme C3 has curved edges, slim side bezels, and a dew-drop notch to house the front camera. Above the notch sits the tiny earpiece. The dual-SIM tray flanked above the volume buttons on the left while the power button sits on the right side.
Unlike the Realme C2, its successor now runs RealmeUI V1.0 (the first device to feature the custom ROM skin) which is based on Android 10. The phone offers GameSpace, Focus mode, Dark mode to name a few. In terms of camera software, the Realme C3 offers the usual modes & features- Time-lapse, Slow-mo, Portrait, Chroma Boost, etc.
The phone comes in three RAM options- 2GB, 3GB or 4GB RAM. However, the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is made available in Nepal. For biometrics, the Realme C3 offers a face-recognition feature. Here’s the entire specification sheet-

As far as the price and availability are concerned, Pashupati Tradelink (the ‘official distributor’ of Realme smartphones in Nepal), cited that the smartphone will carry a price tag of NRs 16,990. The budget Realme C3 will be available in Blazing Red and Frozen Blue color options.
