Realme is gearing up to launch the next-generation Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro in India on March 5, 2020. The company took to Twitter with the revelation that the new smartphone will find limelight on March 5. The main attraction of the Realme 6 series is the addition of a 64MP Pro camera alongside the so-called Pro display with the hashtag #ProCameraProDisplay.

Realme has inked a partnership with Bollywood actor Salman Khan for the promotion of the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. The tweet reveals an image render of the new phone with selfie sensor punched on to the display.

The company seems to have removed the dew-drop notch from the display. This will pave the way for an enhanced screen real estate. In addition to the new handsets, the company will launch its first-ever fitness tracker with the name Realme Band.

Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro Specifications

The main highlight of the Realme 6 series is the addition of a 64MP AI Quad camera. The sensors will be designed in such a way that it can capture ultra-clear pictures and exceptional details. The camera will offer a 20x zooming capability, which can capture clear shots even from a large distance.

The product landing page showcases an image shot with 20x zoom, which details a portion captured from a large distance. Like in the case of the Realme 5 Pro, the device provides support for an ultra-wide lens, telephoto lens, and ultra-macro lens respectively. The phone will bear an in-display selfie camera sensor for capturing ultra-wide images with a large coverage area.

The Realme 6 series flaunts PR6 display with 90Hz ultra-smooth FHD+ display for a super sharp and vivid visual experience. The screen offers a 50% faster refresh rate, which helps you to work faster.

The Realme 6 will ship with 30W flash charging support, which helps you to charge 40% within 15 minutes. You will be able to charge 100% within 35 minutes, which is better when compared with the Realme 5 series. We expect the phone to be available in 4GB, 6GB and 8 GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage capacities.

Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro Specifications

The Realme 5 ships with a 6.5-inch IPS display, while the Realme 5 Pro features a 6.3-inch display. Talking about the internals, the Realme 5 works via Snapdragon 665, while the Pro counterpart offers Snapdragon 712 processor. The phone is available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants coupled with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage capacities.

Whereas, the Realme 5 Pro is available in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. On the power front, the realme 5 comes with a large 5000mAh battery. The Pro model ships with a 4035mAh battery.

The company could ship the upcoming both Realme 6 devices with a 6.5-inch display and 5000mAh batteries.

Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro Pricing & Availability

The exact price of the Realme 6 will be known only on March 5 but we expect it to be around INR 13999 for the 4GB RAM variant. However, you can pre-order the phone from February 26 to March 4 by depositing INR 1000. You can pay the balance from the initial flash sale date to March 15.

As part of the launch offer, the company will bundle realme Buds 2 free of cost with Realme 6. In the case of the realme 6 Pro, you will receive a discount coupon worth INR 1,000 on realme Buds Wireless. The coupon will be credited to your realme account on March 16.
