Within days after the launch, Realme 6 has got a software update that provides HD support for Netflix. The latest development came to the light when a user shared the screenshot of the update screen on the official Realme Community portal. With version number RMX2001_11_B.17, the update provides the required fix, which rectifies the flash screen issue after using partial applications to play HD video. Moreover, the latest bout of the update also provides an Android security patch for the month of March 2020.
Like in the case of all the updates, the Realme 6 update is likely to generate heat for a short time. However, the system will return back to normalcy as soon as the upgrade is finished. Even though the latest software upgrade will not delete data, it is advisable to capture a backup for safety purposes.
The size of the update measures 319MB and hence you can even make use of the mobile data to download the software bits. If you are using 2G or 3G, you should make use of Wi-Fi to avoid interruption during the upgrade process.
