In what could be good news for PUBG Mobile fans, a new PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update is on its way! The update is supposed to include a host of new features — and the leaked patch notes confirm that thing. But sadly, it seems like users waiting for the Erangel 2.0 map will have to wait a little more.
The Erangle 2.0 is among the highly requested features by PUBG Mobile users. So if not with this particular update, we wonder when will PUBG Mobile release the updated Erangle map? Probably with the next update, we hope.

PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 New Functions: What to Expect?
For now, let’s take a look at everything that is expected from the mobile version of Tencent Games’ PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update.
The upcoming PUBG Mobile update will be interesting to watch for a few reasons. As always, there will be some new guns and changes to the existing ones. But there’s also going to be something called Blind Mode. Now we are excited to know more about it!
PUBG Mobile has already rolled out a beta version of the upcoming update to select users.
Color Blind Mode
First things first, let’s talk about the new Color Blind Mode in PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update. This will be helpful for those with color vision deficiency.
During the PMCO 2019 Fall Split Global Finals, PUBG Mobile had announced that color blind mode will arrive sometime in 2020. We can expect Color-Blind mode in PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update since it was also spotted in beta release.
Guns and Attachments Updates
PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update will bring some new changes to UZI. It will allow players to attach red-dot or holographic sight on the UZI gun, which was not possible before.
I’m a huge fan of UZI and I feel this will make me want to use UZI more now that it supports red-dot and holographic sight.
A new gun DBS will be part of the PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update. DBS is a double-barrel pump-action bullpup shotgun that comes with two internal magazine tubes.
This gun is capable of inducing more damage in a short span while the maximum effective range to cause damage is 100m. The DBS can accommodate holographic and red dot sight in addition to 2x to 6x scopes.
Death Replay
PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update is introducing something new called Death Replay. As the name suggests, it’s nothing but a new death cam option. This is going to be similar to Call of Duty Mobile! Death Replay will allow players to see how their enemy killed them.
Extremely Cold Mode
PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 is adding a new game mode for players — Extremely Cold Mode. Well, this is more like a survival mode since users have to extreme cold weather by all means possible. There will be a notification to alert and warns users about the incoming extreme cold wave.
A whole new marking system is on its way! This will allow players to use 8 different types of markers on the map to enemies, hold positions, ask for ammo or attachments, and more.
