OPPO is gearing up to launch OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone in April. OPPO Vice President Brian Shen took to Weibo and revealed the launch of the device. According to Shen, the upcoming OPPO Reno Ace will ship with a decent weight balance. Moreover, your little finger won’t be painful if you work with the device for a longer time and will feel good in your hands.

The news could be correct because it’s directly from an OPPO staffer and not a tipster. Meanwhile, the exact launch date is not known yet. We expect it to be the end of April 2020 because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The OPPO Reno Ace 2 will most likely ship with several advanced features such as a punch-hole display. Shen added that tech-savvy enthusiasts prefer to experience the same features as with other premium OPPO handsets. The photo of the rumored OPPO Reno Ace 2 was leaked online.

The tech-enthusiasts claimed that the handset ships with an identical design and color scheme as OnePlus 7T with minor modifications. We expect that the specifications of the OPPO Reno Ace 2 will be equivalent to premium handsets. On the design front, the rumored phone will ship with a shiny glass back instead of the frosted matte panel.

As per the leaked image of the OPPO Reno Ace 2, we could infer that the image sensors were placed on the rear side in a circular fashion. The experts claim that the camera is housed with the Oreo design. Moreover, the camera sensor is slightly raised.

We could also spot the volume rocker keys on the left side, while the USB Type-C is visible on the bottom. The smartphone is rumored to ship with a dual speaker griller and is placed on the bottom.

The OPPO Reno Ace 2 is expected to ship with either a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate, which enhances the gaming experience. Talking about the internals, the Ace 2 will draw processing power via Snapdragon 865 chipset alongside dual-SIM 5G capacity. The addition of 5G is almost confirmed based on past trends.

You should note that the 5G mobile services are not yet deployed anywhere in the world. We don’t have any information as to when 5G services will be available. The possibility of the Ace 2 getting outdated can’t be ruled out when the telecom majors introduce the 5G connectivity.

The OPPO Reno Ace 2 will find limelight soon with the company VP confirming the arrival. However, we have to wait and watch for updates from the company. We expect a launch even by the end of April. The phone will launch in Chin followed by emerging regions.
