OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite Specifications

According to reports, OnePlus will launch three new smartphones in 2020. In addition to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, you can expect the arrival of the OnePlus 8 Lite. As the name indicates, the lite version will be available at a lower cost when compared with the full-blown versions.

While the OnePlus 8 Pro will flaunt a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, OnePlus 8 will probably ship with a 6.5-inch display. The handset will offer QHD+ resolution paired with a 120Hz refresh rate. The main attraction of the OnePlus 8 series will be the rumored addition of a pop-up punch hole camera. There will be changes to the display and the battery capacities between the standard and Pro versions.

On the specifications front, the OnePlus 8 will ship with Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The camera segment will carry a quad-camera with a 64MP primary sensor alongside telephoto and other secondary lenses.

In all probability, OnePlus 8 series will offer support for wireless charging since the company recently joined Wireless Power Consortium. This means the upcoming smartphones will ship with Qi charging capability. Moreover, the OnePlus 8 series will be resistant to water and dust via IP68 technology.

Coming to the OnePlus 8 Lite, the device will be a trimmed version with MediaTek processor instead of the powerhouse Snapdragon. The handset will probably ship with a 6.3-inch display, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. OnePlus smartphones are not for budget-oriented geeks but the device carries plenty of processing power and camera capabilities.

That being said, you should accept the above OnePlus 8 series specifications only with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement.
