HMD Global is gearing up to push Android 10 updates for a wide range of smartphones before the end of June 2020. Juho Sarvikas aka @sarvikas, who works as the Chief Product Officer of the company revealed the roadmap of the Android 10 update rollout on Twitter.
According to Sarvikas, the company has taken all the required steps to fight COVID-19. However, we also working hard to become the fastest brand by providing the latest Android update to Nokia smartphones.
Even though the actual schedule of the Android 10 update has changed due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Nokia will push the update to several handsets in such a way that it reaches the handsets by the end of Q2 2020.
Upcoming Android 10 Update For Nokia Devices
During Q1 2020, the Android 10 update will be available for Nokia 2.2, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 1 will receive the freshly baked Android 10 update by the end of Q2 2020.
You should note that the exact roll-out dates could vary depending upon region including operator approvals and local variances.
Actually, these devices were supposed to receive the update by now but the deadly Coronavirus altered all the plans. However, the product team is working hard to release an Android 10 update to all handsets as quickly as possible.
If you think that the above smartphones are the first to hit Android 10, then you are wrong. The company had pushed the updates to Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 smartphones over the span of three months from October 2019 to January 2020.

Android 10 will bring in significant features such as dark mode, smart reply for messages, enhanced sharing menu, Focus Mode, quick access to settings, a new depth format, an improved files app, overhauled permissions including Wi-Fi sharing via QR codes.
Moreover, you can work with gestures, Google Assistant handles. If you use hearing aids, then the device will get a boost with streaming support. Going forward, the security updates will be made available via Google Play Store.
