Motorola has added a budget smartphone to its kitty. The Lenovo-backed company has launched Moto G8 Power Lite in Mexico and Germany regions. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite features a large 6.5-inch waterdrop display and triple rear cameras. Dubbed as a trimmed version of the Moto G8 Power, the Lite variant is pre-loaded with the Android 9 Pie operating platform.
The Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite flaunts a 6.5-inch (1600×729) IPS waterdrop notch display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 269 PPI. Under the hood, the smartphone draws adequate processing power via Helio P35 chipset alongside 4GB RAM. The 64GB default storage will be sufficient for storing plenty of media content. You can extend the storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the optics, the Moto G8 Power Lite ships with a triple camera comprising of 16MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, an 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. The camera provides support for PDAF, HDR, beauty mode, timer, panorama, dual camera blur effect including Google Lens integration. The selfie department offers an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The handset is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging technology. The handset is capable of delivering up to 19 hours of video playback paired with over 100 hours of audio backup.
Talking about the connectivity front, the Moto G8 Power Lite provides support for 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS including headphone port. The handset includes a fingerprint sensor on the rear and is resistant to water as well.
