Even though COVID-19 is causing scare among people globally, there is no stopping for smartphone companies. iQOO, which entered the Indian shores just recently is gearing up to unveil iQOO Neo 3 on April 23. The teaser supposed to be that of the upcoming iQOO Neo 3 has surfaced on Weibo. The launch date of the iQOO Neo 3 was also deciphered by referencing “23” as 3+2 by Weibo user Nutren Technology. The tipster added that the Shu was indeed talking about iQOO Neo 3.
The smartphone will launch in China, to begin with, followed by other regions. According to iQOO’s Product General Manager Shuji Niao Shu, the company has adopted a 3+2 strategy with an upcoming device. Shu didn’t reveal the details of the strategy but the popular tipster Ice Universe successfully decoded the background scene behind the strategy.
The rumored iQOO Neo 3 is expected to ship with a large display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865 processor alongside UFS 3.1 based internal storage. The “3” signifies these parameters. Talking about “2”, the handset will borrow diesel from a 4500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging technology.
The iQOO Neo 3 will be a flagship device, while the recently launched iQOO Neo was basically a gaming-centric phone. However, the company could integrate capabilities for gaming in the upcoming Neo series handset. The Neo 3 will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM capacities with 128GB storage.
On the optics front, the iQOO Neo 3 will carry quad-camera comprising of 48MP primary sensor alongside ultra-wide-angle, depth and macro sensors respectively. The front-facing camera will probably ship with a 32MP sensor concealed inside the punch-hole display.
