Samsung to launch ‘Galaxy S11’ and ‘Galaxy S11+’ in Nepal in two months

Samsung is planning to launch the ‘Galaxy S11’ and ‘Galaxy S11+’ in Nepal in the next couple of months. Gadgets Beat has reliably learned from its sources familiar with the development, suggesting that Samsung internally calls its upcoming flagship series the Galaxy S11 and not the Galaxy S20.

The confusion over branding continues as folks over at XDA Developers recently published live pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, courtesy of the phone’s startup screen that apparently confirms branding changes.

Following the global launch, Samsung may launch at least two new Galaxy S-series models in Nepal over the next couple of months. Let’s take a look at everything we have heard so far:

As we have mentioned in our previous story, Samsung Galaxy S11 is expected to start at Rs 84,000 in Nepal and different variants of the model could be around the corner. Thanks to Samsung Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11+, Samsung may be able to introduce new flagship smartphones under different price points.

Previous renders have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S10 successor will feature a 108MP main camera, along with a 5x telephoto lens, ultra-wide-angle lens and a 3D time-of-flight camera. The possibility is that it would also feature a quad-rear camera unit depending on the models, of course. The handset is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery.

In related news, some key details about the camera hardware on Samsung Galaxy S20 series phones have come to daylight. Both the handsets are expected to feature a 64MP camera while the high-end variant is likely to have a 108MP main shooter.

Samsung Galaxy S11 and S11+ users should be able to record 4K videos at 60 frames per second (fps) with both the front as well as rear cameras. Oh well, did we also mention the devices are said to flaunt a punch-hole selfie camera, courtesy of the Infinity-O display?
