How To Set Up and Use Back Tap on iPhone To Take Screenshot
Back Tap is one of the most comfortable ways to put an iPhone function you use all the time at your fingertips. On devices running iOS 14 or higher, with Back Tap on your iPhone can take a screenshot, open Control Center, trigger accessibility-specific actions, and more.
Back Tap feature was introduced with iOS 14, and the feature works on iOS devices as old as the iPhone 8, which was launched five years ago — so you’ve likely got a compatible phone.
You can double-tap and triple-tap the back of the iPhone to perform actions such as taking a screenshot, turning on an accessibility feature, running a shortcut, and more.
Here’s how to set up Back Tap on your iPhone and use Back Tap on your iPhone to take a screenshot. For reference, I followed these steps on an iPhone 13 running iOS 15.5.
